Agra is known for marble inlay, jewelry, and leather; Varanasi, for exquisite silk (particularly brocade) and rug weaving. Lucknow is known for a traditionally white-on-white straight-stitch embroidery style called chikan. You'll find shops selling Kashmiri pashminas, embroidered shawls, and other attractive goods just about everywhere.
