Fodor's Expert Review 212
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Milanese head chef Alex Bignotti performed a neat little trick—he built a restaurant where expats and locals alike can sample an an honest-to-goodness authentic Italian meal that satisfies experienced palates. Free of the missteps and processed-cheese chaos that often comes with European fare in India, this large restaurant on a commercial street in the Worli neighborhood looks sleek and hip, and its elegantly prepared food delivers simple pleasures done right. For starters, try the "cappuccino" of wild mushrooms, black summer truffles, and garlic bread. For the main course, the four-cheese brick-oven pizza is among the best in the city.
