The Government of India Tourist Office, across from the train station, provides a warm and informative welcome to Aurangabad and is open weekdays 8:30-6 and Saturday and holidays 8:30-2. Ask for Mrs. I. R. V. Rao. The MTDC office in town (open Monday-Saturday 10-5:30; closed the second and fourth Saturday of the month) offers a variety of information about other destinations in Maharashtra, and they have a counter at the airport that's open when flights arrive.
