Emergencies in Mumbai (Bombay) and Maharashtra

Emergencies

More Travel Tips »

Most hotels have house physicians and dentists on call, and pharmacies that are open daily until about 9 PM. The chemist at Nanavati Hospital and Royal Chemists are both open 24 hours. Your consulate can also give you the name of a reputable doctor or dentist. Otherwise, try the emergency room at Breach Candy Hospital and Research Center or Jaslok Hospital. Mumbai emergency services can't respond to an emergency as quickly as these services do in parts of the world with better roads and more manageable traffic.
