You'll get lower rates from private agents like Adarsh or Travel House: Rs. 800 to Rs. 1,000 for a full day (8 hours, or 80 km) in a car (Uno or Indica; small cars) with air-conditioning, and Rs. 1,500 or more for an air-conditioned sedan car like a Maruti Esteem. Rates go up for Toyotas, Mercedes, and other luxury cars.
