Fodor's Review:

The excellence of the brownies, pastries, chocolates, waffles, open-face beef, and marmalade sandwiches keeps this wee family-run café chock-full. Mainly a great address for exceptionally well-made desserts, the warm, cozy ambiance, with touches of wood accents, makes it an attractive place to come for breakfast (from 8:30 for eggs, banana-bread French toast, sandwiches), tea with cakes and snacks, or just for a break. It's open until midnight.
