Giant arched windows, high ceilings, floor-to-roof racks of wine, and an abundance of wood lend a warm, charming ambience to this two-year-old deli, a few steps from the Gateway of India. The food, like the welcoming environment, is first rate, with plenty of excellent vegetarian choices and daily specials. Stop by here for either a gourmet sandwich (try the Reuben or the mushroom and Brie), fish-and-chips, a burger, a salad, a pastry, pizza, or a long, cool, fresh-fruit drink. You also may like to sample their wine. Large delicatessen counters showcase cheese, cold meats, pastries, salads, and takeaway items.
