The queue of folks waiting for table on a weekend is a great testimony of the standard of food in this long-running vegetarian thali place. The simplicity of the decor (black-top tables, a picture window facing a patch of greenery) instantly attracts, as does the friendliness of the waitstaff. For Rs. 125 they offer a simple, not too oily and interestingly varied Maharashtrian thali with hot bajraand wheat rotis and a sweet at the end. It is easily one of the best Maharashtran thalis available.
