Tandoor Review

The hospitality of manager Syed Liakhat Hussain is one good reason to visit this brightly lit, busy, and cheerful restaurant that stays open late. The kebabs are another reason, especially the kasturi (chicken) kebab. People come to this local landmark for authentic and well-made tandoori food. Try the murg tikka (chicken kebabs), paneer tikka (cubes of cottage cheese baked in a tandoor), biryani, black dal (lentils), and the fresh, fried local fish. Shoot for lunch instead of dinner if you're coming by auto-rickshaw—later in the evening it's difficult to find transportation (it's far from the main hotels).
