Once just another neighborhood lunch place, this small restaurant near busy M. G. Road has been very much discovered and it's now one of the hottest seafood restaurants in town. Yuppies and film stars crowd into the rows of benches and tables alongside Trishna's old-time regulars, all devouring fresh seafood or Indian and Chinese cuisine. Favorites include squid in green masala and butter-garlic crab (the latter is Rs. 800). Ask to see the crab before it's cooked: the creature's giant, still-snapping claws will dispel any doubts about freshness. Call in advance to find out the daily catch.
