Fodor's Review:

Innumerable marriages have been fixed and business deals struck over the years at the Taj Mahal hotel's best-looking restaurant. It's a very classy tea lounge—squishy sofas, simple glass tables, and upholstered chairs are scattered across a plush carpet, patterned in wavelike swirls; all in warm greens and blues. The backdrop is a technicolor view of the magnificent Gateway of India, the blue ocean, and a harbor full of bobbing sailboats. Make sure you take a window booth. The menu is not elaborate but the food is tasty. Dig into the selection of Bombay snacks. Don't miss the Viennoise coffee ice cream. The lounge opens at 7 AM and breakfast is a great idea.
