This popular Asian restaurant is minimalist and dark, with black-and-white benches and tables facing food stations in the back. At one island you choose the raw materials for an all-you-can eat meal—greens, cut vegetables, fish, prawns, beef, chicken—then, at a second station, a chef cooks it for you with the sauce of your choosing. Vegetarians take note: the restaurant offers meat-free soups and chefs use separate pans and utensils for veg dishes. You can also get à la carte items, Thai curries among them, and a small selection of desserts. The happening bar Polly Esthers upstairs is a good place to sample Mumbai nightlife.
