Kolkatans love Tibetan food, and the plain, no-nonsense Momo Plaza is an ideal place for a Tibetan snack if you're not stuck on having stylish surroundings. The chicken-stuffed momos (dumplings) come steamed or fried, and are served with a very hot red-chilli paste. They're accompanied by a light, watery spring-onion soup called thukpa.
