The impressive, giant four-headed statue of a Kathakali dancer in the gleaming lobby, the boat-shape check-in desk, and the backwater setting all locate the property soundly in Kerala, but guests checked into this luxurious resort could easily forget where they are as they indulge in the decidedly untraditional couple's massage at the Maya spa or relax with a Havana stogie in the cigar bar.
