Somatheeram Ayurvedic Health Resort Review
Stress-free Westerners in green robes roam the winding pathways of this popular ayurvedic beach resort. Lodging is in traditional wooden houses or simple brick cottages on 15 lush acres down by the sea. The grounds are a bit crowded with both people and cottages, but the setting is still pleasant. In 2006, the brothers who owned Somatheeram divided the resort into two, with one brother taking over the similar Somatheeram Beach Resort next door. The resorts share a restaurant.
