Some of the rooms at this hotel capture the country-lodge feeling perfectly—ignore the single-story standard rooms and opt for a split-level deluxe one. Their lower-level sitting areas have wood floors, comfy couches, and working fireplaces; balcony views are of the Anayirankal Dam (its name means "where the elephants come"). The semicircular restaurant also has panoramic vistas.
