You can hardly spot the wood-and-stone structures of this hushed, breezy resort on a 66-acre cardamom plantation. Getting around the hilly property is a workout—especially the hike to the skylight-topped restaurant—but the setting is phenomenal. The views are of trees, trees, trees. Standard double rooms are more pleasant than the narrow two-story deluxe rooms. Luxury cottages have spacious upstairs living rooms and balconies; spiral staircases lead to two bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. Furnishings are of rustic cane and rubber wood.
