Overlooking the sea, this rambling resort has an exquisite beach, lovely views, and a great deal of peace (loud noise isn't permitted). Most rooms are in restored wooden houses, each with an intricately carved facade, a domed wooden ceiling, open-air bathrooms, and understated decor. The handful of cottage rooms has interiors that blend modern and folk touches. An ayurvedic-spa complex was completed in 2005.
