Fodor's Review

This is essentially a simple but beautifully maintained yoga retreat run by a couple who are both instructors. with 11 scenic acres of vegetation and tea plantations, it certainly sets the scene for a holistic, organic lifestyle. Serenity is the hallmark here. The day begins with a yoga session, and all meals are set, strictly vegetarian—prepared with ingredients from the on-site vegetable garden—and served on a tight schedule. For those looking for more than yoga, there are plenty of other activities offered by the resort, including spice plantation tours, bird-watching, and nature photography. All rooms are equipped with modern facilities and are clean, comfortable, and soberly furnished with stone balcony areas outside. A steep bumpy road takes you down to the retreat from the main road, and it's about a 20-minute drive from Munnar. It is best to call and request the resort to send their jeep to pick you up when you reach the Moolakada turnoff, because reaching the property can be confusing (no signs).
