On a bank of a tributary of the River Mandovi, this boutique hotel 10 km (6 miles) from Sinquerim comes with unique views of inland Goa, mangroves, and freshwater wildlife. The lobby features cozy seating areas and murals of country scenes; rooms are furnished with hand-painted wall frescoes, antique mirrors, dark hand-carved rosewood wardrobes, and modern art. Goan seafood specialties are served around the pool, under a wooden gazebo in the garden, or on a tranquil deck right above the river.
