Goa Restaurant Reviews

If you like seafood and spicy food in general, you're in luck. You can spend all your time happily eating nothing but searingly hot (spicy) fish day in and day out, both in the best restaurants around (generally found at hotels) and at beachfront open-air shacks. But since Goa has such a huge tourist culture, food can be prepared to your liking—simply grilled or fried or with less spice, if you prefer. Goan food is big on flavor, whether it's chilli, tamarind, or coconut that dominate the dish. Make sure you order your meat (pork or beef) cooked through, and only order meat in the better-known larger restaurants, not at the beach shacks. Seafood is usually safe everywhere as long as it's fresh. If you're vegetarian, you'll get by fine, but vegetables are not as plentiful in the Goan diet as are fish, seafood, and meat.
