Reis Magos Fort

Reis Magos Fort

Built by the Portuguese at the narrowest point of the Mandovi, Reis Magos is a good diversion before you get to the main fort in the area, which is Aguada. Although you cannot go into Reis Magos Fort, you can view the bastions from the church of the same name that stands below it. The church is one of the prettiest in Goa, standing on a bend in the road as it curves up the hill to the fort and skirts the Mandovi; you get here by taking very steep, mossy steps.
