Palolem Beach

Until recently, Goa's southernmost sandy stretch—nicknamed Paradise Beach—was like a dream. Palolem, in the Canacona district, received only those nature lovers and privacy seekers. Even so, despite the influx of shacks, hotels, restaurants, and discos, this gently curved stretch of white sand backed by the palm groves and low, green mountains remains one of the most beautiful beaches in India.
