Zaffran

Zaffran Review

Classic presentations of simple Punabi fare such as butter chicken, shahi paneer, and dal makhni draw top marks here thanks to fresh ingredients and a light hand with the oil (not the case at most Punjabi joints). Where other restaurants will leave you sopping up the film on your plate with the last piece of naan (flatbread), this place understands that more grease doesn't always mean more flavor. The refreshingly quiet dining room is clean and minimalist with blond wood and cream accents. Service is friendly, knowledgable, and content to leave you alone if you ask. If you want to have a quiet conversation over excellent North Indian fare, head here and recharge after a long day touring the city.

Zaffran from Kasbah in GK-1 N Block market is The WORST restaurant in Delhi I ever visited till now. Behaviour of staff is too rude that even Policemen's behaviour would be much better. Food quality is nothing better than junk food. They don;t have a knowledge of hospitality and how to manage their guest.

Even waiters does not have etiquettes to talk to guest. Managers will not listen to guest and go by staff words.

Worst thing is they DON'T pay you complete balance and deduct TIP themsleves whether you have asked them to do so or not.

For delivery of any food they take 1-2 hrs atleast by that time you will loose your mood and prices are touching sky even more than Five star charges.

I'll never go back to this restaurant and recommend everyone not to go there if you want to really enjoy your luch / dinner or whatever.
