For those looking to beat the summer heat by cooling off with Delhi's best ice cream, make haste to this casual café that takes its name from the movie and its decor from Hollywood classics. The pizzas and pastas are hearty and tasty, if not terribly authentic, and Middle Eastern and Lebanese choices are usually a good bet. However, leave room for dessert, the real standout. The Mississippi Mud Pie (mocha, chocolate, and peanut butter ice cream with a chocolate crust) is extraordinary. It's an ideal place to linger over lunch or catch an early dinner, and the East of Kailash branch is a convenient stop before or after the Lotus or ISKCON temples. But if you're in a hurry, keep in mind that service can be painfully slow and sometimes even rude. Alcohol is not served.

When I lived in New Delhi this was my favorite non-Indian food place to eat. It beats places like Fridays & Ruby Tuesdays hands down. From amazing baked pastas to an excellent selection of sweet treats this place will give you a break from the business of Indias streets. Last time I was there it was almost completely staffed by friendly Tibetans who were always ready to help. Go try it!!
