Chinese food in Delhi tends to be five-star or takeout, with little in between. China Fare is an exception, with delicious meals at modest prices in attractive (if cramped) faux-Tuscan surroundings. The menu is basic, with strengths in poultry and noodles: options include crispy honey chicken, chicken with mushrooms and baby corn, the devilishly spicy Chicken Singapore, and "chilly garlic" noodles, an Indo-Chinese classic. The crispy lamb dishes are also good, and you don't have to be vegetarian to make a meal of the mixed vegetables in hot garlic sauce. Alcohol is not served.
