$$, Sujan Singh Park
Fodor's Review:
Service is heart-warmingly friendly in this quiet hotel, which is run by the Taj Group but costs half the price of its glamorous siblings. The building is a converted section of Sujan Singh Park, an exclusive 1930s neighborhood dripping with late-Raj charm. You're next door to Khan Market and close to Lodi Garden. The small marble lobby has comfortable banquette seating; upstairs, the hallways are windowed and bright. Most rooms have carpeting, basic teak furniture, and a modern bathroom with window; a few have tile floors, area rugs, and old-style bath fixtures. Try to get a room in front, with a balcony overlooking the garden, as rooms in back can be noisy.
