$$, Bhikaji Cama Place
Fodor's Review:
The Hyatt has a surprisingly homey feel, with the mirror-spangled cream-color lobby suffused with light from the pool-facing pastry shop at the back -- where you can relax at a marble-top window table with one of the best European desserts in town. A clay waterfall spills past this aerie to the ground-level coffee shop. Guest rooms have cream-color walls and parquet floors, a rarity in India; views on the pool side are superior. Rates are very reasonable considering the deluxe facilities. The shopping arcade is easily the best in Delhi, with dozens of shops selling jewelry, handicrafts, and Kashmiri carpets and shawls.
