This little inn might be the best deal in Connaught Place. Rooms are small but welcoming, with a wool bedspread, marble-top table, and either plush carpet or marble floor with rug. Bathrooms have showers only; and rooms on the road side are noisy, so request an inside room when you reserve. The halls are adorned with photos and paintings of random sights around the world, and the first-floor sitting area has faux-medieval stone walls. Management is flexible; the restaurant can open very early to accommodate those leaving on day trips to Agra. Don't confuse this Jukaso Inn with its cousin in Sundar Nagar, which is inferior.

This hotel is vastly over-rated.It`s mission statement of being a friendly,family run hotel is a joke.They are the unfriendliest staff that it has been my mis-fortune to meet.They seem only interested in taking your money and not about your welfare.My room was reasonable only,certainly not worth the price that was charged.There were several dirty,dusty areas,the phone looked as if it had never been cleaned( as did the one in the dining room)and the bathroom stank. The food was over-priced and expensive, served by surly staff.The only person who smiled was the poor old bell-boy.It was such a relief to leave that I left a day early.The lady proprietress was kind and attentive but was this just a smokescreen? If not,she should ensure that her staff are living up to her promises,Their English speaking was very difficult to understand until it came to signing for a bill or settling the same,then it miraculously improved!! Overall,an experience definitely to be missed!! One American lady was so incensed that she was refusing to pay all of her bill. I paid mine with relief at leaving

Jukaso Inn is dangerous and run by thugs

When we disputed an outrageous extra charge the hotel tried to levy, they physically prevented us from leaving and refused to let us call the police to sort the issue out. Worse, they called in several street thugs to intimidate us. I am a journalist based in Delhi and travelling in places such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Kashmir, and even I felt umcomfortable with the level of physical threat.
