In a residential neighborhood near the World Trade Center shopping emporium, this luxury hotel (and its buffet breakfast) is a favorite of business travelers. The comfortable rooms have high ceilings and modern furnishings. Sea-facing rooms cost slightly more than a city-facing room, but the view of south Bombay and the harbor beyond makes the higher rate worthwhile. For an added splurge, ask for the more expensive "superior sea-facing room" on one of the upper floors. Although the hotel is not as extravagant as others in its price range, service is outstanding. Some of the floors, the coffee shop, and the lobby have been refurbished to sport a cozy "living room" look. Also here are a restaurant called the Trattoria, a coffee shop, and Italian eatery.
