This restaurant is the second avatar of the erstwhile China Garden at Kemps Corner. Like the original, which didn't have an unreserved table since Chinese master chef Nelson Wang opened in 1984, this incarnation bustles with Bombay's trendiest young VIPs and film stars. The restaurant is spacious and has expanses of black marble and a prominent bar. Mr. Wang's unusual Chinese artifacts decorate the room, and the windows are framed with white lace Chinese curtains. Hot favorites include prawns wrapped in bacon, crispy Peking chicken, crispy vegetable pancake, Shantung prawns, gin chicken, and hakka fish.
