$, Asian, Apollo Bunder
Fodor's Review:
This popular new Asian restaurant is minimalist and dark, with black-and-white benches and tables facing food stations in the back. At one island you choose the raw materials for an all-you-can eat meal -- greens, cut veggies, fish, prawns, beef, chicken -- then, at a second station, a chef cooks it for you with the sauce of your choosing. Vegetarians take note: the restaurant offers meat-free soups and chefs use separate pans and utensils to prepare vegetarian dishes. You can also get à la carte items, Thai curries among them and a small selection of desserts. The swanky Tides next door is a good place for a pre-dinner drink.
