The 1950s facade is faded, but once you step inside you'll see that the rooms are renovated and plush, with shiny marble floors and comfortable beds. The bathrooms are clean, with lots of glass and chrome -- the tubs have a glass window that looks out into the bedroom. This is one of the very best deals in its price range, even if most rooms lack any kind of soul-stirring view.

Awesome Ascot

We had a great stay at the Ascot. The room was a bit on the small side, but very clean and nice. The room service was quick and attentive. The price for Mumbai was excellent. The location in Colaba was great and cabs were easy to get to anywhere. Would stay there again.

A rare find!

In a city where good, clean hotels seem to be for the very rich, the Ascot is a true gem. Our room was huge, immaculate, and very comfortable. The staff was helpful without being intrusive, the food tasty(though breakfast could have been better), and the common areas pleasant. It's just off the main drag in Coloba, and still manages to feel serene. Excellent value. Highly recommend.
