Jim's Tibetan Hotel Review

Outside the south gate, this is one of the city's newest lodgings. It's in the quiet Yulu Xiaoqu neighborhood, making it ideal for those wanting to avoid the hubbub of the old town. Decorated in traditional Tibetan and Bai styles, the hotel is run by a Tibetan and Dutch couple who speak English. It's the only place in Dali with a playground. Ask about booking tours of Dali and beyond.
