Green Lake Hotel (Cuihu Binguan) Review
Adjacent to Cuihu Park, this hotel is probably Kunming's nicest. From the lobby to the guest rooms, it may be the only five-star hotel in Kunming that actually deserves the rating. The Western restaurant on the first floor is headed by a French chef, and the Cantonese restaurant across the lobby is a favorite of local businessmen and officials. The grand marble-and-wood lobby is filled with plush chairs and sofas, and the coffee shop has excellent coffee drinks and homemade ice cream. The guest rooms are Kunming's cleanest and most comfortable. The restaurant hosts regular performances of traditional music.
