Fodor's Review:

In a pleasant part of town, this former Hilton still holds itself to the same high standards. The grand marble-and-wood lobby is filled with plush chairs and sofas and the coffee shop has excellent coffee drinks and homemade ice cream. The guest rooms are Kunming's cleanest and most comfortable. The restaurant hosts regular performances of traditional music.
