Lancang River

Fodor's Review:

The Lancang River (Lancang Jiang) is the name of the Mekong River in China, where it originates before flowing into Southeast Asia. It is easiest to access the river from Jinghong at the Xishuangbanna Bridge—there is a path there that follows alongside the river and is ideal for strolling or biking. A growing number of local operations offer a variety of boat, raft, and dinghy trips along the famed river.
