Fodor's Review:

The Visitor Center for Nature and Culture in Northwest Yunnan is a small but fascinating museum of the region's cultural and biological diversity. Exhibits include one in which area villagers were given cameras to document their daily lives. One exhibit compares photos taken in the 1920s with those taken more recently to document the effect of development upon the area. The museum is funded by the Nature Conservancy.
