Fodor's Review:

The Baishuio River streams over nine sets of rocks, creating nine waterfalls over a course of 2 km (1 mi). At the highest point, Huangguoshu Pubu (literally, Yellow Fruit Trees Falls) drops an eye-popping 230 feet. The largest in China, these falls are set in a lush countryside where you'll find numerous villages. You can enjoy them from afar or by wading across the Rhinoceros Pool (Xiniu Jian) to the Water Curtain Cave (Shui Lian Dong) hidden behind the main falls. Seven kilometers (4½ mi) downstream is the Star Bridge Falls (Xing Qiao Pu). The falls are at their best from May through October. Buses from Guiyang's main bus terminal make the trip here in two to three hours. Any travel agent can help you with the arrangements.
