Easily the most elegant hotel in town, the Sheraton Guilin welcomes you with a chic lobby with a sunny atrium and glass elevators that whisk you upstairs. The standard rooms are gorgeous, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden or the river. There are massive flat-screen TVs and bathrooms with rain-forest showers and separate soaking tubs. Rooms on the club floor offers rooftop seating with mountain views. The Chinese restaurant on the first floor offers a delicious culinary tour of Sichuan and Guangdong, while the restaurant on the second floor serves tasty Western standards as well as some interesting fusion dishes.

booked by china odyssey tours, the room was a slight old fashioned. hotel Rooms are average lighted with dar colour.lobby was quite nice with exterior elevators. Breakfast buffet in the western style restaurant was nicely done with live piano music in the background. hotel price typically high, but parallel to the food and drink service offered. Very friendly location, within walking distance of reasonably priced restaurants, cafe, shopping, and several
sightseeing attractions:elephant trunk hill and fubo hill, the room itself overlooks the Li river. front office staff very efficient but seems less friendly. generally staff has good command of english. Overall a satisfactory hotel.
