Temple of the City God (Chenghuang Miao)
Temple of the City God (Chenghuang Miao) Review
Lying at the southeast end of the bazaar. This Taoist Temple of the City God was built during the early part of the Ming Dynasty and was later destroyed by fire in 1924. The main hall was rebuilt in 1926 and has been renovated many times over the years. Inside are gleaming gold figures, and atop the roof you'll see statues of crusading warriors—flags raised, arrows drawn.
