In the heart of the Old French Concession, Vedas is a popular destination for quality Indian food at affordable prices. Decor is dark and comfortable. The menu focuses on northern Indian cuisine, and the hand-pulled naan bread, thick and succulent curries, fiery vindaloos, and house-made chutneys are excellent. Vedas is extremely popular, and always bustling. Don't expect an intimate, tranquil dining experience, but do expect spectacular food and great service in a pleasant if busy environment.
