Nadaman

Nadaman Review

Sleekly elegant and stylized, Nadaman is modern Japanese dining taken to its extreme. The accents of raw granite merged into a formalized designer interior reflect the restaurant's origins in the modern Tokyo, looking almost overdesigned. With a focus on freshness and presentation, Nadaman gives diners superb cuisine at a price tag to match. The sushi is some of the finest in the city.

Even when staying at the Shangri-La - I probably wouldn't go in Nadaman. Something about this location (pretty exposed to passersby, with the big windows) is just too hotel-restaurant for me. The food isn't more memorable than serviceable restaurants in, say, the Super Brand Mall next door. I do appreciate the peace and quiet and being to zone out in front of my laptop...er...that sure puts the restaurant in a poor light. Bottom line: in a location with Jade 36 and Fook Lam Moon - I'd need a real good excuse to hit Nadaman.
