Jean Georges Review
One of the fine-dining warhorses of the Bund, Jean Georges is the Shanghai project of celebrity-chef Jean Georges Vongerichten. The dark, intimate dining room in the historic Three on the Bund brings the right note of class to the experience, though the service can occasionally be lacking. The contemporary French cuisine is well executed but expensive. This is a showcase restaurant and at its best, Jean Georges is on the top of the scene; however, too often it falls just a little short of perfection.
