I stumbled upon Chaterhouse Books entirely by accident. i was staying in the Ritz Carlton hotel and it was raining and so my mobility was limited. I went walking around the hotel compound, went into Chaterhouse, and walked out with about ten pounds of books! Never mind that I had to take them all home on an airplane. For a small store, it stocks a very high proportion of books that I found interesting and appealing -- both fiction and nonfiction -- and I could easily have bought twice as many.
