Art Scene Warehouse

I just visited Art Scene Warehouse. They have an exhibition called Chinese Art Prize. The staff explained that every year they hold a sort of "art competition" for young emerging artists from throughout China. Painters only. Some international museum directors and museum directors come in to pick the top 20 artists. From what I saw, the show looked good. Some pretty impressive young talent. I, personally, liked one called Kong Yong Fang (spelling?).

It's a big space with a big show by many artists. I was impressed. There was a huge sculpture there, too. And some pretty nice little sculptures of a girl with a bomb and with flowers - check that one out!
