The pièce de résistance of the 24-story InterContinental is a nearly 200-foot-high Italian Renaissance-inspired atrium decorated with red Chinese lanterns that shines natural light onto the 19 guest floors, six of which are executive floors. A vivid coat of red livens up the hallways and spacious guest rooms, which all have separate tub and shower. The restaurants cater to a wide range of tastes: Japanese, Cantonese, Shanghainese, Chaozhou, and Continental. The open kitchen of Level One restaurant turns out a great lunch buffet with samples of all those cuisines.
