Park Hotel (Guoji Fandian) Review

Once Shanghai's tallest building, the 20-story Park Hotel has long since been eclipsed by other hotels whose glory days are present instead of past. Dating from 1934, this piece of history overlooking People's Park still has great views and a musty charm, particularly in its restored marble lobby. Rooms are clean and bright, with prints of historic buildings from around the world. But bathrooms are tiny, and the hotel's limited facilities have definitely slipped to second-rate.
