Jazz Bar Review
Within the historic and romantic Peace Hotel, this German-style pub has earned its fame due to the nightly performances (tickets, Y80) of the Peace Hotel Old Jazz Band. The musicians, whose average age is above 70, played jazz in dance halls in pre-1949 Shanghai. However, they're not quite as swingin' as in their prime, and a sense of tradition, rather than the quality of the music, has sustained these performances.
