Bao Luo

Bao Luo Review

Although its English menu caters to tourists, Bao Luo is Chinese dining as the Chinese enjoy it, a fact confirmed by the usual long wait for a table. The freshness of the ingredients comes through in every dish, from perfectly steamed broccoli to tender stewed crab and pork meatballs. Tables are packed tightly in this small, two-story restaurant, and the light-wood interior merely serves as backdrop to the can't-miss cuisine. However, look closely for the red-scroll neon sign with a tiny "bl", or you may miss the restaurant altogether.

I would say the food is overall great there. However, for those whose knowledge (or taste) of Chinese food is still at "General Tsao's Chicken" - please don't go. You won't find any of these kind of American junk food in Bao Luo.
