Paulaner Brauhaus

Paulaner Brauhaus Review

There's a shortage of good German food in Shanghai. Paulaner Brauhaus does its best to fill the void with a menu of classic German dishes like Wiener schnitzel, bratwurst, and apple strudel, accompanied by the house-brewed lager. The food isn't inspiring, and seems pricy, but the beer is excellent. The Fenyang Lu location is more laid-back, with a courtyard beer garden in the summer. The Xintiandi branch, open for lunch, is great for people-watching.
